Chatfield State Park-Littleton, Colorado

Course: 13.1 Mile Loop on single track dirt trail and double track dirt trail.  Stream & River Crossings.  Altitude of course is from 5600-5700 feet. Minor hills.  Well-marked, easy-to-follow.  Kind of like the Alferd Packer Course with Joan Crawford's love mixed in!

Start:  Double-Marathon starts at 6:00 AM.  Half-marathon and Marathon EVENTS start at 8:00 AM.

Time Limit:  Course will remain open until 8:00 PM.

Water Stations: Every 3-4 miles.  Carry a water bottle!

Guaranteed T-Shirt Deadline:  Enter by May 12, 2002 at 10:00 PM Denver Time and you are guaranteed a t-shirt...note you have to START the race to pick it up.  'No-show' shirts are not sent but are handed out (as available) to those who signed up late but at least got themselves to the starting line.

Entry Includes: Finisher’s Medal. Trophies to top 5 in each event. A well-marked course. Free entry to Chatfield State Park

Raceday Check-In of Pre-Registered Runners /Number Pickup:  Ultramarathon runners from 5:30AM-5:45AM;  Half-Marathon & Marathon runners from 7:00AM-7:30AM.

Location of Start: Chatfield State Park is located one mile south of the intersection of C-470 on Wadsworth Boulevard (Colo. 121) in Littleton, Colorado. Once inside the park follow the signs to the B & B Stable Area/Wetlands Trail Head where parking, registration, number pickup, start of race, end of 13.1 mile loops, and finish of the race are located.

Release and Waiver: Will be signed at check-in on May 19, 2001. No runners under 18 years of age. Entry fees are not refundable for any reason. Entry is not transferable. Runners participate solely at their own risk. Race run rain, snow, or shine.
