Course: 10K loop on single track dirt trail and double track dirt trail. Altitude of course is from 5600-5700 feet.  Minor hills. No river crossings. Well-marked, easy-to-follow. It is a pleasure to run at beautiful Chatfield State Park!

Course Map:

Start: Event starts promptly at 9:00 AM. Course remains open for 9 hours.  Runners and walkers are welcome.

Aid Stations:  Every 10K.  Coke, sports drink, salty snacks, cookies and candy are available.  This is trail racing so carry a water bottle to stay hydrated on these 10K loops!  A self-serve water station is available at the 3K and 7K point of every loop for convenience.

Entry Includes: Engraved Medal to all finishers. Aid stations.  Post Race Snacks. A well-marked course. Free entry to Chatfield State Park.

Guaranteed T-Shirt Deadline:  Enter by April 4, 2002 at 10:00 PM Denver Time and you are guaranteed a t-shirt...note you have to START the race to pick it up.  'No-show' shirts are not sent but are handed out (as available) to those who signed up late but at least got themselves to the starting line.

Raceday Check-In, Registration & Number Pickup: From 7:30-8:30 AM on raceday.

Location of Start: Chatfield State Park is located one mile south of the intersection of C-470 on Wadsworth Boulevard (Colo. 121) in Littleton, Colorado. Once inside the park follow the signs to the B & B Stable Area/Wetlands Trail Head where parking, registration, number pickup, start of race, end of 10K loops, and finish of the race are located.

Release and Waiver: No runners under 18 years of age. Entry fees are not refundable for any reason. Entry is not transferable. Runners participate solely at their own risk. Race run rain, snow, or shine. Good dogs are welcome to run with their master but must be on lease at all times per Chatfield State Park rules.
